The Rock N Roll Rats are an original band originally from frozen Calgary, and have now moved to Vancouver BC Canada. They play punk rock n roll, harkening to the haydays of The Ramones, The Misfits, Stranglehold, and George Thorogood. Influenced by their favorite punk and classic rock music, The Rock n' Roll Rats play gigs in and out of their hometown. Insisting on playing their own brand of "Punk n' Roll", The Rats are proud that they don't know how to play any cover songs, except for their contributions to the official Forgotten Rebels tribute CD. True to their image of hot-rodder punk rockers, bassist Jesse "Death" drives his Buick Hearse daily, while singer-guitarist Johnny "Forgotten" can be seen around town on his vintage Triumph motorcycles. The Rock n’ Roll Rats love to play, and their high energy performances show it. The Rock n' Roll Rats have released two full length CDs of their own, contributed songs to the official Forgotten Rebels tribute CD, and have recorded an EP with Richie Ramone on drums.
